E3g is extremely serious about Health & Safety and has an ongoing proactive program of continuous improvement as outlined in its management system procedures.
The company will ensure that all processes are operated in full compliance with relevant statutory legislation, codes of practice and guidance documents issued by the Health and Safety executive.
A competent person will be appointed to assist us in meeting our statutory duties including, where appropriate, specialists from outside the organisation.
The company will consult the workforce on all Health & Safety matters through its Health & Safety committee.
E3g is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment and ensuring that all plant and machinery are designed, constructed, maintained and operated safely in accordance with current legislation and the companies safe systems of work.
E3g is committed to providing safe systems of work for the safe use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances and ensuring that appropriate protective equipment is provide and maintained.
It is the duty of all management to ensure that all processes and systems of work are designed to take account of health and safety and are properly supervised at all times.
Management at all levels recognise that health & safety is just as important as any other of their management responsibilities are aware of the companies principles which are:
· All injuries and occupational illnesses are preventable.
· We are all directly responsible for preventing injuries and illnesses.
· All deficiencies must be corrected promptly.
· People are the most critical element in the success of the Health & Safety Management system.
Each employee will be provided such information, instruction and training as is necessary to enable the safe performance of work activities.
The Health & Safety policy and management systems are documented and reviewed annually by the main board directors to ensure compliance with relevant legislation is maintained as part of the companies drive for continuous improvement.
