At Eastland Compounding we pride

Amongst our capabilities is a development
facility that allows production of highly bespoke custom compounds.
We have over 20,000 different formulations
allowing large scale versatility and enabling us to tailor bespoke
formulations for our customers.
Eastland Compounding uses a combination of tangential and intermeshing
rubber mixing technologies. The intermeshing line incorporates a
fully automated inline straining facility to produce temperature
controlled "clean" compounds. Each machine operates a
batch system, which drops from a twin roll mill and feeds into a
strip cooler via a second mill. Our three mixers also have specialised
cooling equipment, which during the summer months is able to draw
on cold air from a refrigeration plant, thereby eliminating seasonal
temperature variation.
All compounding mixers are attached to twin automatic
strip packers giving the perfect presented strip material.
In addition to our rubber mixing capabilities, Eastland also
has a finishing department. This provides the facility to calender
products to a width of 1200mm, slit calender products into narrow
rolls and also produce specific blanks or strips to stringent customer
tolerances through a cold feed extuder.
