Prior to Eastland Compounding she worked in the accounts department for Sharp Electronics. She is responsible for all purchasing on site, working closely with the commercial and technical functions to ensure best quality and service in addition to keeping costs as low as possible. Prior to her move into purchasing, Jill worked in various laboratories at Rhodia and was involved in developing and testing rubber to metal bonding agents for tyres. During her technical career, Jill studied Chemistry by day release at Stockport College, ultimately being rewarded a BSc Hons by the University of Manchester. Outside work, she is a keen cook and also enjoys reading, classical music, theatre and following her favourite band around the world.
